What is Skip-counting?
Skip-counting is counting by jumping over numbers!
Instead of counting 1, 2, 3, 4... we can count by 2s (2, 4, 6, 8...) or by 5s (5, 10, 15...). It's like hopping on a number line - so much fun!
How to Skip-count
1️⃣ Start with your first number
2️⃣ Jump the same amount each time
3️⃣ Say the numbers as you land on them

- Real-world counting: Practice with everyday items - count pairs of socks by 2s or fingers on hands by 5s
